Last week, myself and a few selected NI bloggers and press boarded a bus to Dublin to attend the Remus Uomo Autumn/Winter 2015 press launch.

Now, to be honest, I had already had a small sneak peek at the collection as I currently contribute journal articles for Remus Uomo and was privy to the new season in late August. But however stylish the photographs are, they do not compare to checking out the ranges in person.

The event was a relatively relaxed affair, an open house for Dublin-based PR and press, held in the stylish surrounding of the Dean Hotel.
A simple and undetstated setting, it allowed the clothes to stand and speak for themselves. The addition of an informal model installation brought the collection to life.

The seasonal focus is on texture, with knitwear and woollen suiting being major stories. This isn't really surprising for a autumn collection, but the use of unusual textures, rich colours and meticulous detail makes the range something special. 








I've chosen a few stand-out piece I think will be key pieces for the upcoming season.

I will admit I was super keen to tap the turtle neck trend this season and the Remus Uomo mulberry sweater was on my list. However, on trying a couple of styles out recently in the name of research, I have came to the conclusion its not a trend for me. The shape is not kind to a fellow with a belly or rounded shoulders. Plus my beard was velcroed to my neck.
