I was recently lucky enough to win a Twitter competition hosted by Menswear Style for a pair of Antoine & Stanley shoes.

Admittedly, I had no knowledge of the brand before I entered, but I did a little research after and liked what I found.

One of Australia's best-known modern luxury brands, Antoine & Stanley's wide selection of shoes include boots, loafers, driving shoes and lace ups. What I love is that they've taken relatively traditional styles and updated them with bold colours and contrasting trims.

They were kind enough to offer me a choice of three styles; loafers in
aged green leather, classic black lace-ups and suede derbys in camel and tan. Though I loved the loafer, I think of them as more of a summer shoe, I'm not a fan of black shoes so my obvious choice was to go for the Corey suede derby. I pretty much only wear brown or tan shoes, so this was a no-brainer. They arrived on Saturday and I am over the moon. Antoine & Stanley are obviously a company who know about shoes care about their products as they came with a shoe horn and separate dust-bags. Such obvious footwear tools but so few companies think to offer this service.

I'm wearing them here with my Gap jeans (thank god for turn-ups) and a Uniqlo white shirt, but I think they will easily carry me into autumn/winter with cords. I can't wait to wear them.
