On the Third Day of Christmas | 3 Fresh Scents

We’re on to the 3rd day of my Christmas countdown and there’s only 11 days left to get all your shopping in.
As Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, your last minute window is getting smaller and smaller especially over here in Northern Ireland with our archaic Sunday trading laws!

But back to the matter at hand; day three with a clever play on French hens cos I is smart!

On the third day of Christmas I spotted this for me... 3 fresh scents!

I’ve written many times on aftershaves, colognes and fragrances and I am a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to what I wear. If I find a scent I like and that suits me, I tend to stick to it and rarely buy a new fragrance for myself on a whim.

But these are 3 fragrances which have been on my radar for a while and I’ve yet to pick them up other than for a sneaky spritz at the perfume counter.

In no particular order:

This reminds me of one of my favourite scents, Bang by Marc Jacobs but much more intense. Perfect for contrasting a cold day, a warming scent like this can make you feel snug and cosy.

I’m a big fan of Molton Browns tobacco absolute shower gel and deodorant so it’s a natural progression to add their eau de toilette to my collection. Woody and subtle, another ideal winter scent.
I’ve worn various fragrances by Issey Miyake and I’m always drawn back to the fresh and light notes each one has. This new release is salty and fresh like the ocean and a great contrast when you want to lighten up your fragrance profile.
